“The best audience is intelligent, well-educated and a little drunk.” — Alben W. Barkley

We're taking on a classic beer and a classic movie about beer: we're pairing Smokey and the Bandit with Coors' Banquet versus their "craft" beer Batch 19.

Many people are probably asking us why we're taking on a macro beer when we're a craft beer show: because back in the day, original Coors was legendary. And we celebrate it with another Beers and Movies movie special: Smokey and the Bandit.

In education we talk about the impact of Coors' Banquet Beer on beer culture in the 1970s.

More info on the beer and the brewery can be found here.
